Description
Prior to joining the team at SCL Health, Susan worked as a registered nurse for 8 years in a variety of settings including a medical/surgical unit, psychiatry, pediatrics, PACU (pediatrics and adult) and served as a nurse in the Air National Guard. Her clinical interests are diverse and she enjoys seeing a variety of different healthcare problems, including pediatric patients.Susan is passionate about finding a solution to each patient’s needs and figuring out complex medical concerns.“I do not give up. If I cannot figure out what is going on with a patient, I will consult and collaborate with my colleagues to help in any way I can. I also refer to specialists if warranted as to provide a collaborative type of care to each unique patient depending on their specific needs. It is also important for a new patient to know that I am easy going, non-judgmental, and truly have a desire to help in any way I can.”When not working, Susan can be found camping, hiking, boating, skiing, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
